A 25 year old pregnant woman in Nepal, admitted at a health care facility after being tested positive for COVID19 infection. She has recovered and discharged from the hospital, Nepal's health ministry reported on Sunday.
The five month pregnant woman who was tested positive for COVID19 was undergoing medical care at the Bharatpur based Coronavirus Hospital, tested negative on RT-PCR testing, the Himalayan Times reported, citing the ministry.
Following the negative test results, the 25yrs old pregnant woman was allowed to return home owing to complete recovery from the Coronavirus infection, it said.
She was discharged from hospital after five days of hospital stay.
The 25yrs old pregnant woman - a native of Hetauda sub-metropolitan city, Mankwanpur -has been asked to remain in self-isolation for two weeks as a precautionary measure.
