China is requiring passenegrs on all incoming flights to show proof that they tested negative for Coronavirus

Chinese and foreign passengers of China bound flights will need to provide a proof of negative Coronavirus test result before being allowed to board the flight, China's aviation said on Thursday, Reuters reported.

This will help to ensure safe and orderly restoration of international people to people exchanges and economic activities, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Wang Wenbin said a media briefing.

The announcement made by CAAG of China is a step to reduce the imported Coronavirus infected cases in China, and comes as several countries, and in particular the United States, are struggling with their Coronavirus testing capacities and delays in getting the testv reports.

The announcement mentions, nucleic acid test must be conducted within five days of embarkation, and tests should be accomplished at facilities recognised by only Chinese embassies in other countries.

It adds that the Chinese embassies will assess the testing capacity of the host countries and will formulate travel procedures further when testing conditions are met.
