Indian-American Philanthropist to Donate $1 Million Worth of Face Masks and Protective Shields to Protesters in US

On the occasion of Juneteenth, eminent Indian-American enterpreneur and philanthropist Gurinder Singh Khalsa has announced to donate protective shields and face masks worth USD 1 million to peaceful demonstrators across the United States of America demanding police reform after the death of George Floyd.

Recipient of the Prestigious Rosa Parks Trailblazer Award, Indiana-based Mr Khalsa also said that we need to portray the true picture of US if we want to replace violence and hate with compassion and love in this country.

Mr Khalsa also said that his USD 1 million worth donation of protective shields and face masks to the US protestors is a small token of contribution to those who are seeking justice and to end the police brutality, reflected in the recent murder of 46 years old African-American George Floyd in last month.

He also recently started Cleanxa, a PPE manufacturer and distributor, which would be used to distribute rewashable, reusable, medical grade filtered protective shields and face masks to protestors either individuality or in bulk through huge demands.

Adding that he took this decision to commemorate Juneteenth to support national movement seeking police reforms, he requests every American to join this movement by the way of peaceful protest shown by like Martin Luther King Jr.

He said, If we want to replace hate and violence with love and compassion , we need to portray the real face of American history. This is the most important part of American history, which is not being taught in school. For the future of America, we need to learn it from our glorious history, however bitter it might be.

The United States continues to remain the worst hit country from the novel COVID-19 with 21,91,052 cases and 118,434 deaths.
