Israel may drove data from phone to track Corona Virus

Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has permitted internal security agency to tap into cellphone data to re-trace Corona virus affected person and others who needs to be quarantined because their paths crossed.

The unrivalled step to use data secretly for public safety was authorised on Sunday by PM's cabinet. It still needs to be approved by parliament's secret service committee. The committee on Monday ended it's discussion by stopping to the approval process.

Though the existence of data trove have previously been not reported but still the idea to shift through geological data location collected from Israeli cellphone provider company about millions of their customers can be used to find people who came in contact with the virus carrier and send them a text message to isolate themselves.
