United States President Donald Trump said in an interview that the Coronavirus is as under control and the rising death toll is what it is as Coronavirus cases have surged in some other states.
In an interview with the Axios News released on Monday, President Trump said that increased Coronavirus testing in the US accounted for the increase in positive cases.
President said, "They are dying, that's true. It is what it is. But that doesn't mean we aren't doing everything we can. It's under control as much as you can control it. This is a horrible plague."
President Trump said Coronavirus cases have increased in Missouri, Mississippi, Oklahoma, Georgia, Tennessee, but added, I think you will find that they're soon going to be very much under control.
Speaking to reporters in the White House briefing room Monday, President said that, the Coronavirus is receeding and said that they have seen slow improvements in the virus hotspots across the south and west America.
COVID-19 cases continue to rise in the United states at least 155,000 people have died amid the pandemic and the country's deaths reaching a record 1,000 a day. The White House Coronavirus task force coordinator, Dr. Deborah Birx, said on Sunday the virus was extraordinary widespread in both rural areas and cities.
