United States President Donald Trump attacked Congressman James Clyburn in real time for alleging President Trump failed the USA with a lack of Coronavirus testing during the select subcommittee on the COVID-19 crisis hearing featuring testimony from Dr. Fauci and Dr. Robert Redfield.
Clyburn in his opening remarks said on Friday, "Regrettably, nearly six months after the Coronavirus claimed it's first American life, the federal government has still not yet developed and implemented a nation wide strategy to protect the people of the USA. The administration has failed on COVID-19 testing.
He also referenced a Vanity Fair report that detailed the President's senior adviser Jared Kushner's national COVID-19 testing plan. Over 40 minutes after Clyburn's allegation, President Trump bashed Clyburn for saying that federal government has failed on Coronavirus testing.
President Trump tweeted, "Somebody please tell Congressman Clyburn, who doesn't have any clue, that the chart he put up indicating more Coronavirus cases for the United States than Europe, is only beacuse we do much more testing than any other country in the World. If we had no testing, or bad testing, we would show very few cases."
"Our massive testing capability, rather than being praised, is used by the Lamestream media and their partenr, the Do nothing Radical Left Democrats, as a point of scorn," President continued on Twitter, "This testing, and what we have so quickly done, is used as a Fake News weapon. Sad!"
