US President Donald Trump on Friday signed a very strong Executive Order protecting American Monuments, Memorials and Statues and combatting recent Criminal violence in the United States of America. President Donald Trump also cancelled his weekend trip to New Jersey to ensure strict law and order in Washington.
The Executive order signed by President Donald Trump says the federal government will prosecute to the fullest extent of the law any person or group that damages or desecrate a monument, statue or memorial. President Donald Trump also warned to withhold federal funding to the respective states and law enforcement agencies that fail to protect the American monuments, statues or memorials.
President Donald Trump earlier tweeted on Friday that he had signed a very strong executive order.
President Trump on Twitter called for the arrest of protesters directly involved with the attempt to bring down the Jackson statue from Lafayette Park.
Mr President also retweeted an FBI wanted poster having pictures of 15 protesters who are wanted for vandalisation of the federal property.
President Trump wrote, Many protesters in police custody with many others for being sought for vandalisation of Federal Property in Lafayette Park. 10 year prison sentence!
On Monday night protesters tried to drag the Jackson statues down with ropes and chains. Police repelled the culprits and sealed off Lafayette park.
President Trump also tweeted that he had scrapped plans to spend the weekend at his Central New Jersey home to stay in Washington to make sure law and order is strictly enforced.
These anarchists, agitators, looters and arsonsists have been largely stopped, President tweeted. I am doing waht is necessary to keep our community safe from these protesters - and these people will be brought to justice.
